This is a highly varied role combining operations, project coordination, stakeholder management, events, content production, commercial development and data management. You will be responsible for managing the L&D schedule end-to-end, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, supporting the delivery of seminars and training programmes, and ensuring that every interaction is followed up and converted into a meaningful commercial opportunity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the L&D calendar end-to-end, ensuring sessions, presentations, filming, courses and networking activities run smoothly and to schedule.
  • Coordinate seminars, webinars and training sessions, including presenter preparation, attendee management, logistics, communications and follow-up.
  • Work closely with senior and technical subject-matter experts to extract, structure and develop their knowledge into high-quality training and educational content.

  • Coordinate in-house and external trainers, ensuring they meet agreed timelines, standards and requirements.
  • Manage attendee and client information, ensuring accurate records are maintained within internal databases and CRM systems.
  • Oversee invoicing, online payments and associated financial administration.
  • Maintain comprehensive feedback processes across courses, seminars, networking sessions and other L&D activities.
  • Support the marketing and distribution of educational content across digital and social media channels.
  • Identify commercial opportunities from interactions with attendees, clients and other stakeholders, ensuring individuals are appropriately followed up and directed towards relevant courses, products or services.
  • Support university relationships, fairs, partnerships and other external engagement initiatives.
  • Continuously improve processes and systems to ensure the L&D function operates efficiently and scales effectively. Skills & Experience Essential:
  • Experience in operations, project coordination, events, learning & development or a similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and strong calendar management, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts and competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working directly with senior professionals and technical subject-matter experts.
  • Comfortable working with databases, CRM systems and operational processes.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to recognise opportunities and drive follow-up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when dealing with schedules, attendee information, payments and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and proactively solve problems without needing constant direction. Desirable:
  • Interest in financial markets, commodities, energy or other complex commercial environments.
  • Experience with video production, filming/editing workflows or online learning platforms.
  • Experience with digital or social media marketing.
  • Experience working with universities, external partners or outsourced service providers.
  • Degree-level education. The Ideal Person: We are looking for someone who is highly organised, disciplined and exceptionally strong on follow-through. You will be comfortable taking ownership of problems, managing multiple stakeholders and keeping things moving even when plans change at short notice. You should be commercially hungry and naturally focused on turning interactions into opportunities. The role requires someone who can influence senior stakeholders without formal authority, ask the right questions, extract information from subject-matter experts and turn complex knowledge into clear, engaging content. You will need to be calm under pressure, adaptable, curious and confident in dealing with senior people, clients, suppliers and external partners. Key Personal Qualities:
