Hiring: Java Backend Engineer Location: Edinburgh, UK Work Model: Hybrid- 2 days/week onsite Contract: Contract Opportunity Rate: £450/day- Inside IR35 (Gross) Experience: 10+ years required We're looking for an experienced Java Backend Engineer with 10+ Years to join a high-performing engineering team and work on scalable, cloud-native applications. Key Skills & Experience:
- Java (8/11/17+) with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application development.
- Microservices Architecture using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed system design.
- Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture, messaging, and asynchronous processing.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including deployment, monitoring, and cloud-native services.
- Containerisation & Orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD & DevOps using Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and automated deployment pipelines.
