We are hiring for Linux Programme Manager Location: Sheffield – Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)
- Lead the design, build and launch of an enterprise RHEL/Linux server service on IBM LinuxONE / IBM Z, defining supported RHEL versions, server sizes, availability levels and target workloads.
- Coordinate IBM Z/LinuxONE, RHEL, network, storage and security teams, with knowledge of LPARs, IFL capacity, z/VM or KVM, provisioning, patching, hardening, monitoring, backup and automation.
- Own the technical programme delivery, including plans, dependencies, RAID, risks, suppliers, budgets, architecture decisions and cross-platform coordination between mainframe, Linux and application teams.
- Lead pilot and production readiness, covering application compatibility, support models, SLAs, disaster recovery, operational runbooks, service catalogue, onboarding and final go-live approval.
