About the job
We are hiring for Lead Java Developer Location: Glasgow, UK – Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the office)
- Develop and enhance applications using Java 21–25, Spring Boot 4.x, REST APIs and Microservices, with a focus on scalable and reliable solutions.
- Design and implement API integrations, data transformation pipelines and message-based architectures, ensuring effective communication between applications and services.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyse application problems and deliver robust solutions while maintaining high standards of code quality, testing and performance.
- Work with modern engineering practices and cloud-native technologies including GitLab CI/CD, Maven/Gradle, automated testing, Docker, Kubernetes and AI-assisted development tools.
