Director - Development Finance

Director - Development Finance Location: North London A well-established, specialist development finance lender is seeking a highly capable and motivated Director to join its development finance team. This is a high-profile origination role, ideal for a strong performer with existing development finance experience from either a bank or non-bank lending background. Key Responsibilities

• Generate new development finance opportunities by building and managing relationships with developers, brokers/intermediaries and property professionals
• Originate and structure development finance opportunities
• Manage the underwriting and credit process for new transactions
• Oversee drawdowns and redemptions, ensuring the loan portfolio performs consistently
• Build and/or manage a small team to support origination targets and portfolio management Skills & Experience
• A strong, established track record of originating development finance opportunities and managing a loan portfolio
• Excellent communication skills for dealing with borrowers, brokers and intermediaries
• Confident presenting credit papers to credit committee and senior management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of development appraisals and structuring development finance facilities
