Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Provide 3rd Line Infrastructure Support on Servers and Application services to the GAP Group of companies. Providing support on GAP line of business applications. Take the lead Infrastructure Projects. Be an example and point of reference for the support team   Main Responsibilities   ·        Being Technical Go To point for Support Team ·        Providing enhanced end user Server support ·        Analyse, diagnose and resolving issues to find permanent fixes ·        Produce procedural documentation, KBs and infrastructure documentation where required ·        Scoping and Managing business Infrastructure improvement projects ·        Perform Server and Infrastructure upgrades. (Servers, Networking Devices etc) ·        Management of Technologies listed below ·        Liaising with Multiple 3 rd Party Vendors for support ·        Liaising with Dev Team to troubleshoot and resolve any arising issues ·        Working to protect the business from unexpected outages ·        Making suggestions and recommendations to enhance the IT Offerings to the business ·        Being the final point of contact for Support tickets ·        Working from a Helpdesk System to resolve tickets, ensuring SLA's and KPIs are met     Technologies   ·        VMware ·        Fibre Based SANs ·        Domain Services (AD, GPO, DHCP and DNS) ·        Networking Fundamentals (IP, SM, GW) ·        Microsoft 365 and its services ·        Azure and Intune (Auto Pilot) ·        Meraki Switches, Firewalls, AP, MG and MX ·        Secure Connect SDWAN ·        Reverse Proxy ·        Sophos AV / SOPHOS MDR ·        Cisco ISE ·        Cisco Umbrella ·        Veeam & Synology Backups ·        Endpoint Central – Windows Patch Management ·        ProcMon
