Cyber Security Engineer Location: London (Flex-hybrid) Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package NOTE: Candidates must be eligible for un-caveated UK Security Clearance (SC). This is an excellent opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer who enjoys a mix of engineering, security operations, automation, and infrastructure security, while working with modern security technologies and threat detection capabilities. What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across infrastructure, applications, and platforms.
• Supporting security monitoring and threat detection capabilities through SIEM technologies and log management.
• Automating security processes and tooling using scripting and infrastructure automation techniques.
• Managing and securing network infrastructure, firewalls, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Conducting security assessments and infrastructure reviews against recognised security standards and benchmarks.
• Collaborating with engineering and security teams to embed security best practices throughout the technology lifecycle.
• Supporting vulnerability management, endpoint security, and incident response activities where required. What We're Looking For
• 3+ years' commercial experience working in a Cyber Security Engineer, Security Operations, or Infrastructure Security role.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, platform engineering, and security fundamentals.
• Experience with SIEM technologies such as Splunk, Sentinel, ELK, Cribl, or similar.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments.
• Scripting or programming experience using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Exposure to vulnerability management, IDS/IPS technologies, endpoint security, and security monitoring.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to security.
