Day-to-day tasks include researching assigned topics, drafting and revising content according to brief requirements, and ensuring alignment with brand voice and style guidelines. The writer will collaborate with editors or project managers, respond to feedback in a timely manner, and manage multiple assignments while meeting agreed deadlines. Responsibilities also include basic content formatting, fact-checking sources, and optimizing copy for readability and audience engagement. Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing abilities, with the capacity to produce clear, grammatically accurate, and audience-appropriate content.
• Demonstrated research skills, including the ability to identify credible sources and synthesize information into accessible copy.
• Familiarity with digital content practices, such as writing for the web, basic SEO concepts, and user-focused content structure.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple assignments, and consistently meet deadlines in a remote, part-time setting.
• Proficient in standard writing and collaboration tools (e.g., word processors, shared documents, project management platforms).
• Strong communication skills, openness to editorial feedback, and a professional approach to client or stakeholder interactions.
• Previous freelance or content writing experience is preferred; a portfolio of writing samples is highly beneficial.
