Night Porter

Set in a stunning location overlooking the beach and newly refurbished, The Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott is currently recruiting for a dedicated Night Porter to join our team on a full-time basis. This vital role involves providing exceptional customer service during the night, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests and premises. • Welcome and assist guests arriving during the night, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining high standards of phone etiquette
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints with courtesy and professionalism
• Monitor security systems and conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure safety and security
• Ensure the lobby and public areas are clean, organised, and welcoming throughout the shift
• Assist with emergency procedures if required, including fire safety protocols and evacuation procedures Requirements
• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English to interact with guests and colleagues
• Strong organisational skills to efficiently manage guest requests
• Ability to work independently during night hours while maintaining vigilance and professionalism
• A friendly, approachable demeanour with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts on a rota basis
