Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment. The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. • Take a lead role in projects, including planning and budgeting.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the project plan and keep project progress up to date.
• Produce technical documents, reports and presentations for both internal and external use (work instructions, job packs, etc.).
• Representing Encocam, or associated BU, for external communication as the expert in the associated area. Including technical committees, customer meetings and conferences etc.
• Provide technical support to sales, customers and production. Ensure a close working relationship with sales making sure that customer needs are met.
• Research and investigate technologies and processes to ensure that the Company remains aware of latest developments.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with customers and suppliers.
• Ensure technical specifications are available for all relevant project and production equipment/ materials.
• Ensure that development work is reported and stored in the Technical Library.
• Identify and source Regulations and Standards to support product development.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data, identify trends and anomalies that help steer development (as part the product development cycle)
• Create and review test reports and CofC's.
• Deliver engineering designs, taking method of manufacturing into account. Qualifications
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
• Knowledge of logic controllers and their implementation in projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
