Mechanical Maintenance Tech

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance team. The role will be at our production facility in Bishopstoke and involve the following - - Working to the site Health & Safety and Environmental legislation

• Diagnosing, fault finding and repair of medium/heavy industrial plant and machinery.
• Completing preventative maintenance checks and inspections.
• Developing and implementing modifications to improve reliability and efficiency of plant and machinery. This role operates on a 4-week rotating shift pattern, covering both days and nights. Shifts are 12 hours in duration, from 6:00am to 6:00pm and 6:00pm to 6:00am. Qualifications/Experience In The Following
• Time served qualified industrial maintenance mechanical fitter/technician
• BTEC NVQ or equivalent qualification in mechanical maintenance
• Hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding
• Maintenance of rotating machinery
• Machining and welding experience would be advantageous The Person
• Self-starter, proactive, prepared to take the initiative and work without direct supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Work well under pressure.
• Practical approach.
• Team player.
