Financial Analyst

Interim Finance Analyst London (Hybrid Working) Energy / Clean Energy £400 per day TalentEdge are working with a fast-growing energy business looking for a Finance Analyst to provide additional support to their commercial finance team on an interim basis. This is a hands on analytical role supporting forecasting, performance reporting and commercial decision-making across a growing and evolving business. Why join them?

• Flexible hybrid working Responsibilities:
• Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts and longer term financial plans.
• Produce monthly performance reporting , including analysis of actuals against budget and forecast
• Investigate key revenue, cost and margin variances and provide clear commentary
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and commercial decision-making
• Supporting scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis around growth, costs and investment
• Improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting and analysis About you:
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CAANZ qualified
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability.
• Interest in automation, AI-enabled working, and continuous improvement.
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Python, SAP, or SAC would be advantageous.
