Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar is required, alongside strong skills in SQL databases and data visualization tools. A solid understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and machine learning techniques is necessary to succeed in this role. Additionally, excellent communication and problem-solving skills are vital to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex findings to diverse audiences. Responsibilities The Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing, quality, and product performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Developing analytical models, dashboards, and reporting tools will be a core part of your duties, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions. You will apply statistical and machine learning techniques to support engineering initiatives and optimize processes. Defining data and reporting requirements in collaboration with engineering and digital teams will ensure alignment with project goals. Supporting simulation and modeling activities using real-world data will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will present your findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
