Power BI Data Analyst

A leading public sector organisation is seeking a professional to support a key data and compliance initiative. This project will help the organisation proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks, delivering meaningful outcomes that support regulatory compliance, improve services, and enable data-driven decision-making within a large and complex environment. The Role

• Assess and improve the quality, consistency, and accuracy of existing datasets
• Consolidate multiple Excel-based data sources into a structured analytical model
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for operational and senior stakeholders
• Create comprehensive reporting and case management solutions
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and patterns, developing predictive analytics and risk-based models
• Deliver actionable insights that support proactive intervention and compliance activities What You'll Need
• Strong commercial experience developing solutions in Power BI
• Advanced data cleansing, transformation, and data modelling expertise
• Excellent knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and advanced Excel
• Experience consolidating fragmented datasets into a trusted analytical model
• Experience developing predictive, trend-based, or risk-scoring analytics
