System Engineer

Principal Systems Engineer Client: BAE Systems Job Type: Contract Location: Barrow, Portsmouth Broad Oak or Filton Working Arrangements: 2 days onsite per fortnight Rate: £58 PAYE or £78.33 Umbrella Duration: 12 Months Please note that due to the nature of this Programme, they will only accept sole UK nationals. Key Responsibilities

• Capture and agree technical requirements.
• Deliver compliant technical solutions against customer and regulatory requirements.
• Produce, manage and control design documentation.
• Manage design changes and associated documentation.
• Support engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) activities.
• Contribute to Design Reviews and engineering governance activities.
• Support system architecture, integration, verification and validation activities. Skills & Experience
• Significant Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
• Full Systems Engineering lifecycle experience.
• 10+ years' Systems Engineering experience.
• 3+ years' modelling experience.
• Verification & Validation (V&V) experience.
• System Architecture experience.
• Strong requirements management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Defence experience highly desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile BAE Systems programme on an initial 12-month contract.
