Design Engineer

I am recruiting for several Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineer opportunities with a range of well-established Building Services Consultancies in Leeds. The Role As a Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative building services solutions from concept through to project completion. You will work alongside experienced engineers, architects and multidisciplinary design teams on projects that make a real impact on the built environment. What You'll Be Doing

• Designing mechanical or electrical building services systems for a range of sectors
• Producing calculations, technical specifications and engineering drawings
• Using industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, Hevacomp and IESVE, depending on your specialism
• Supporting projects through all stages of the design process
• Attending site visits, surveys and client meetings
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
• Contributing to sustainable and technically innovative project outcomes What You'll Need
• Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Previous experience working within a UK Building Services Consultancy
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance
• Experience using relevant building services design software
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
