Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer My client is currently looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to come on board on a permanent basis and join there growing team The role will be to provide day to day support of all our clients' cloud systems and security.

Operations

• Create scripts to improve cloud deployment and reporting mainly in SharePoint.
• Be a dedicated support point for detailed firewall questions.
• Ensure good working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools across the team. Cloud Management
• Update Security and Network information to accurately account for changes in infrastructure
• Test and rollout updates to firewalls and routers. Project Management or Client Management
• Deal with the management tasks associated with running a busy MSP.
• Have delivered projects on time and budget or have been the dedicated point of contact for multiple clients and able to explain to clients the best solution for them.
• Keep up to date with new product roll outs and pricing changes and ensure we capture the changes in our client billing.
• Understand costs of solutions and engineering time.

Essential Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of a leading firewall vendor (FortiGate ideal)
• Expert knowledge of hardware troubleshooting Windows environments.
• MDM skills
• O365 conditional access and share point setup.
