Principal Project Manager

Principal Project Manager (Defence) £65,000 – £75,000 | Hampshire area | Fully Onsite I'm currently working with a growing technology business operating within the defence sector, looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a range of technically complex projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the engineering, customers and delivery — rather than simply managing timelines from a distance. The role:

• Manage projects from initial requirements through to successful delivery
• Take ownership of project performance, budgets, quality and timescales
• Manage projects typically ranging from £1m–£15m
• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure requirements are delivered
• Manage customer expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure contractual requirements are clearly understood and delivered
• Coordinate internal teams and stakeholders to keep projects on track
• Support the wider project management function and contribute to improving processes What we're looking for:
• Proven experience managing complex engineering or technology projects
• Experience delivering projects within the defence, aerospace or wider high-tech sector
• Strong commercial and customer-facing experience
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and technical teams
• Experience working on projects with significant budgets and contractual requirements
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Current SC clearance is required as a condition of employment
