Work you'll do

• AI Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI/ML-driven initiatives. Define the vision, translate business strategies into high-impact AI product roadmaps, and manage the product backlog with clear prioritizations.
• Strategic Advisory: Advise insurance clients on planning and scaling technology-enabled AI initiatives, with a primary focus on modernizing core processes, enhancing predictive capabilities, and transforming the digital Distribution and Agency ecosystem.
• Complex Delivery Leadership: Lead agile engagements to design, build, and deploy custom AI models and cognitive solutions (e.g., LLMs, generative AI, predictive analytics) that integrate smoothly into existing insurance core platforms.
• Value-Driven Solutioning: Plan and design AI solutions targeting complex operational challenges in insurance, such as intelligent distribution channel routing, predictive agent attrition, smart incentive targeting, and automated compliance.
• Business Growth (Rainmaker): Collaborate with internal teams to drive key initiatives, pitch AI-driven capabilities to clients, and identify new revenue streams in the insurance technology and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) space.
• Team Leadership: Develop high-performing product and engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence in AI/ML alongside deep industry-specific functional expertise.
• Core Competencies: During your tenure, you will demonstrate leadership in Strategic Thinking, Agile Product Management, and Tech Savviness, with a specific focus on influencing stakeholders and delivering business value through AI/ML implementations. We are looking for someone with:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) is preferred.
• AI/ML Product Experience (Mandatory): 8+ years of experience in technology consulting or product management, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner/Manager delivering AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Advanced Analytics solutions.
• Insurance Domain Expertise (Mandatory): Deep, practical knowledge of the insurance industry, including core operations, regulatory requirements (HKIA compliance, GN16), and data environments.
• Agency & Distribution Knowledge (Preferred): Prior experience working with Distribution Compensation Logic, agency hierarchies, producer management, or digital broker integration is highly preferred.
• Technical & Data Savviness: Strong understanding of modern cloud platforms (Alibaba, Huawei, Tencent Cloud, AWS, or Azure), AI pipeline deployments, and data integration patterns (ETL, data lakes) to ensure high-accuracy feeding of AI models.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of bridging the gap between technical AI data scientists/engineers and business executives (Heads of Distribution, COOs, CFOs).
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP, PMP, or TOGAF is a plus.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
