We are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Sudbury. This full-time position is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment. The school operates with a 2 form entry system, and each class of 23 students is supported by a teaching assistant.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that comply with the KS2 curriculum.
• Manage a classroom of 23 students, ensuring a safe and stimulating educational environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants to effectively support the educational and emotional needs of students.
• Regularly assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with parents to enhance student development.
• Participate in school events, professional development sessions, and staff meetings.
• Contribute to the development of teaching materials and curriculum planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching KS2 or in a similar educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and student well-being.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
