Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
• Manage a classroom of 23 students, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants to enhance the educational experience and address the needs of each student.
• Assess student progress, maintain records, and communicate effectively with parents to support student development.
• Participate actively in school events, ongoing training, and staff meetings.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of innovative teaching materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching KS1 or in a similar educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
