Business Intelligence Developer

Our client is looking for a BI Developer/Tableau Developer to rebuild and stabilise the financial and operational reports used across their business. You will restore reliable reporting, working closely with the reporting team and business stakeholders. This contract provides cover during maternity leave while the client recruits a longer-term fixed-term employee. Responsibilities

• Review existing Tableau reports and identify the causes of failures.
• Prioritise report recovery with the reporting team and business users.
• Rebuild affected reports, dashboards and calculations.
• Investigate data connections and dependencies that affect report reliability.
• Improve report performance and resolve recurring issues.
• Validate financial and operational figures against agreed source data.
• Test rebuilt reports with stakeholders before releasing them.
• Document changes and hand over maintainable reports to the reporting team.
