Desktop Support Engineer

2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst – Financial Services Location: South London – Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office Industry: Financial Services / Investments Benefits: Strong pension & benefits package I'm currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst to join an established Financial Services organisation within its Service Delivery function. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role supporting users across the business, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring a high-quality technology experience. You'll work closely with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams while taking ownership of incidents through to resolution.

• Provide hands-on 2nd Line/Desktop Support to business users
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and application issues
• Manage incidents and service requests through to resolution
• Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other IT equipment
• Manage user access to business applications and data
• Deliver a high level of customer service to users and senior stakeholders
• Work closely with wider Infrastructure and IT teams What we're looking for
• Previous 2nd Line Support / Desktop Support experience
• Strong M365 experience
• Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills
• Desktop and laptop build experience
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Financial Services experience would be advantageous
• Experience supporting investment/business applications such as Bloomberg or BlackRock would be beneficial
