Nurse Educator

Nurse Educator Day Rate: £185-£230 Contract Length: 12 Months Location: Field based/Manchester with Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Nurse Educator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of future nursing professionals in a supportive and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing education programmes that enhance clinical competencies and promote best practises.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical staff to ensure alignment of educational content with current healthcare standards and practises.
• Conduct engaging lectures, workshops, and hands-on training sessions for nursing students and staff.
• Mentor and guide students in their clinical placements, providing support and constructive feedback to promote professional growth.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in nursing education and practise, integrating relevant knowledge into curriculum development.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback to support their learning journey.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of educational initiatives. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree in Nursing Education or a related field is preferred.
• Current nursing licence and certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE) is a plus.
• Proven experience in nursing education, clinical instruction, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Previous experience working within diabetes care, ideally as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN), Diabetes Nurse, Diabetes Dietitian, or in a similar specialist diabetes-focused role.
