Job Title: Ultra Low-Latency C++ Engineer (C++ 20/23) Client: Elite Buy-Side Fund Location: London (Hybrid) £££: Up to £150,000 + Bonuses + Benefits The Role: Our elite buy-side clients are looking for a highly talented C++ Software Engineer to join an experienced tech team. • Design, build and own greenfield, ultra-low-latency systems from the groundup
• Work alongside world-class engineers, researchers and technologists solving some of the industry's most challenging technical problems
• Develop high-performance trading platforms, matching engines, execution systems and low-latency data stores from first principles
• Explore modern systems programming with C++ and Rust to push the boundaries of performance, safety and scalability About You:
• Strong experience with modern C++ (C++20/23); exposure to Rust or an interest in systems programming with Rust is highly valued
• 2–7+ years of professional software engineering experience in performance-critical environments
• Excellent computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, networking and computer architecture
• Experience building highly reliable, low-latency, high-throughput systems where performance is a primary concern
