The Lines Group

This is a full or part-time in-house designer role. We're looking for a talented, adaptable designer to join our team and play a role across creative, production and digital work.

  • What we need from you. Our ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Strong technical design skills. You understand composition, typography, hierarchy, colour and all the things that make something feel right. The role is a varied mix of creative and production work, including artwork adaptation, digital design, site plans, floor plans and other forms of detailed artwork.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma is a plus, but digital design skills and a desire to learn our toolset is more important.
  • You'll be able to take a brief, understand what it's trying to achieve and develop a strong visual or technical solution.
  • An interest in Digital. We build our websites using Webflow, but no experience of this platform is required as training will be provided. However, a desire to learn how to create and build exceptional websites is a must. We and you will pride ourselves on delivering “best practice” in performance, accessibility and user experience.
  • You'll be curious about emerging software, tools and technologies, and interested in how they can improve the way we work and what we can offer our clients.
  • What you'll get at Lines. To do great work. Have a voice. Keep growing.
  • A creative environment where exceptional quality and exceeding client expectations still matter.
  • From day one, you'll have a voice. Everyone at Lines plays an important part, and we actively encourage new ideas, embrace change and challenge the status quo.
  • We want to see you grow. Because when you grow, we grow. We'll give you the opportunities, support and freedom to develop your skills, build your career and make your mark.
  • Our environment is professional but relaxed - just as an agency should be. We believe work should work around life, which is why our flexible working arrangements are designed to support your personal commitments as well as your career.
  • As one of the UK's longest-established agencies, Lines offers experience and stability with the freedom to be creative, challenge convention and a place where you can make a real impact.
  • Think this could be the role for you? Send your CV and a little about yourself to Martin Ebdon, Director, at: martin@linesgroup.co.uk
