Buyer - BWS

Buyer - BWS North London 0n-Site £45,000 - £55,000 I am currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join a successful retailer within their growing team. You will be responsible for driving the Buying strategy to ensure the growth in both sales & profitability while maintaining a strategic business focus to ensure continued development within the impulse category.

• Take full end to end ownership of the commercial & trading strategy for BWS categories
• Building & maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
• Maintain outstanding levels of supplier service and work seamlessly with internal departments to resolve and issues promptly.
• Always seeking new suppliers to deliver a stronger commercial offer than current suppliers, or to supply new / alternate products and categories to the business
• Analysing sales figures to plan successful future lines with the own brand team.
• Presenting reports, figures and trend information to the Senior Management team Key requirements for the role;
• Proven previous Buying experience within a fast-moving FMCG environment. BWS experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
• Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing retail market.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
