Management Accountant

We are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join our Group Management Accounts team. Based in Leeds with agile working, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of divisional reporting, provide valuable financial insight, and support the continued development of a high-performing finance function. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust controls, and supporting business performance through high-quality financial analysis. You'll join a collaborative finance team focused on delivering accurate reporting, continuous improvement and strong financial stewardship. Working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, you'll help ensure the organisation has the information and insights needed to make informed decisions. What's The Role

• Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
• Lead monthly reviews of financial performance and explain variances and trends to key stakeholders
• Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving reconciling items promptly
• Collaborate with finance and non-finance teams to support an efficient month-end close process
• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and improve financial processes and controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting activities as required
• Work with auditors and provide financial analysis and supporting information when needed What Can You Offer
• Professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience within a finance environment, ideally in a multi-divisional organisation
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent numerical skills
• Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with large volumes of data
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• A proactive approach to problem solving, risk identification and continuous improvement What's In It For You
