  • Supporting audits and compliance requirements
  • Monitoring accident and near-miss reporting
  • Ensuring policies and procedures remain compliant with current legislation
  • Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the business

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, visible within the business, and confident managing a wide range of people issues.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in a standalone HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist role
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and experience
  • Sound understanding of UK employment law
  • Experience supporting operational or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to build credibility and influence at all levels
  • Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of the HR function

Desirable

  • Health & Safety experience, including risk assessments and compliance
  • IOSH qualification or similar Health & Safety training
  • Manufacturing, production, logistics or FMCG sector experience

The Person

You'll be:

  • Personable and approachable
  • Practical and solutions-focused
  • Confident and resilient
  • Adaptable within a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and accountable
  • Someone who enjoys working closely with people and making a visible difference

What's on Offer?

  • Salary of £45,000 - £50,000
  • A genuine standalone HR management opportunity
  • Varied and rewarding role with significant autonomy
  • Supportive leadership team
  • The chance to influence and develop the people agenda within a growing business

This opportunity would suit an experienced HR Manager who thrives in a hands-on SME environment and is looking for a role where they can truly add value while maintaining oversight of Health & Safety compliance.
