Temp Part-Time Housekeeper & Dog Carer required for a Private Family Home based in Central Bournemouth

12 - 15 hours per week (Flexible hours, Monday - Friday)

Position: TEMP, Part-Time

Our Client is looking for a reliable, trustworthy and proactive Housekeeper to support a busy family home. This is a varied role combining high-standard housekeeping duties with caring for two much-loved dogs.

The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, organised home and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and young children.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Cleaning the home to a high professional standard
• General tidying and home organisation
• Laundry and ironing
• Deep cleaning tasks including ovens and refrigerators
• Cleaning and maintaining stone flooring
• Caring for house plants
• Keeping the family car clean and hoovered

(All cleaning products and equipment will be provided.)

Dog Care

• Looking after a friendly Beagle and Staffy
• Feeding, exercising and spending quality time with the dogs
• Walking them in the local area, countryside or beach locations
• Confidently managing dogs off lead when appropriate

Previous experience with dogs is essential. Applications will only be considered from candidates who have hands-on experience caring for and exercising dogs.

Additional Support

• Basic administrative assistance maybe required to support a growing business managed by the client
• Be able to comfortably communicate with one primary school aged child.

• Experienced in housekeeping or domestic cleaning
• Trustworthy, discreet and reliable
• Friendly and approachable
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• A genuine dog lover with experience caring for dogs
• Comfortable working in a family environment
• Basic IT skills desirable
