Audit Senior

Reed Practice are pleased to be partnering with a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Banbury to recruit an experienced Audit Senior.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional looking to join a supportive firm where they can take responsibility for a varied client portfolio, lead audit assignments and support the development of junior team members.

The Role

As an Audit Senior, you will:

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Manage audit engagements, ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Identify and assess key business risks and evaluate internal controls.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to clients and senior management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide advice and support to clients on financial and business matters.
• Support the training and development of junior team members.
• Assist with accounts preparation and other advisory projects where required.
• Contribute to the continued development of audit processes and best practice.

About You

To be considered, you will have:

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Experience leading and delivering audit assignments.
• Strong knowledge of UK audit standards and FRS 102.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.

Desirable

• Charity sector experience.
• Accounts preparation experience.
• Exposure to CCH or CaseWare software.
