Buyer - Pharmacy

Buyer (Pharmacy) Birmingham - Full time on site Up to £34,000 About the role We're recruiting for an established independent pharmacy group in Birmingham. The business has grown steadily over the years and runs on strong customer relationships. We're looking for someone to take ownership of margin, bring structure to the data and make the numbers work harder for the business. Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and supplier pricing across the product range
• Track Drug Tariff reimbursement against buying prices and act where margin slips
• Build and maintain Excel reports and models, replacing manual processes where possible
• Analyse performance by product and category and recommend improvements
• Work with the owners and operational teams to agree buying and pricing decisions About you
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, ideally Power Query)
• Experience in buying, margin or pricing analysis in retail, wholesale or distribution
• Confident working with thousands of SKUs
• Commercial, organised and happy to be hands on in a business where processes are still developing
• Pharmacy or Drug Tariff knowledge is helpful but not essential
