Catchin' Talent

Mid-weight designer Location: Remote / midlands Reports to: Creative Director We are hiring for a creative marketing and events agency helping brands engage their audiences and grow through partner marketing, campaigns and brand experiences. The lose-knit team has a flat structure, with creativity at the heart of what we do. We are looking for a versatile, motivated and detail-oriented Mid-weight Graphic Designer with around 3–5 years' experience, ideally agency-side, and a portfolio spanning digital and print. This is a genuine all-rounder role, taking creative concepts through to finished, production-ready assets across digital campaigns, emails, marketing toolkits, events, retail and print. We value attitude and personality as much as craft. We want someone who brings ideas, enjoys new challenges and looks for smarter ways to work, including using AI and automation where appropriate. You'll work closely with an experienced Creative Director, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress. Not every skill below is essential from day one. A willingness to learn and a positive attitude are just as important. Design & Production

  • Turn concepts into accurate, production-ready digital and print artwork.
  • Create marketing toolkits, campaign assets and branded materials across multiple formats.
  • Manage resizes, versioning and localisation across different markets.
  • Design emails, digital ads, social content, brochures and retail materials.
  • Produce event graphics, signage, exhibition materials and large-format artwork.
  • Prepare print-ready files and liaise with suppliers and production partners. Creative Contribution
  • Bring ideas and visual concepts to campaigns, events and creative reviews.
  • Support pitches and proposals with mood boards and concept visuals.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all assets and channels. Ways of Working
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Explore AI tools, templates and workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with digital design and accessibility best practices.
  • Take ownership, ask questions and suggest better ways of working. Client & Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with account, marketing, events and content teams.
  • Interpret briefs, ask the right questions and challenge constructively.
  • Present and explain creative work confidently.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively. Essential Skills & Experience
  • Around 3–5 years' graphic design experience, ideally agency-side.
  • A strong portfolio across digital and print.
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Solid artwork and pre-press knowledge.
  • Confidence working across multiple brands and visual styles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work at pace.
  • Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills. Desirable experience
  • After Effects or similar motion design tools.
  • Responsive HTML email design.
  • Figma, PowerPoint or basic CMS skills.
  • Experience in marketing, events, retail or brand activation.
  • Familiarity with AI design tools and production workflows. Personal Attributes We value personality and attitude as highly as experience. We're looking for someone who is:
  • Comfortable with variety, pace and changing priorities.
  • Ambitious and keen to develop.
  • Hands-on, proactive and happy to get stuck in.
  • Passionate about creative quality and detail.
  • Curious, imaginative and interested in what makes design effective.
  • Open to feedback, willing to learn and keen to try new tools.
  • Able to take ownership and work collaboratively. Why Join the Agency? This is an opportunity to create high-profile work across a wide range of brands, channels and formats, working alongside an experienced Creative Director. The role offers plenty of variety, the chance to contribute ideas and opportunities to explore new ways of working, including AI and automation. The agency invests in individual development, encourages internal progression and offers a clear route towards Senior Designer and beyond. Benefits
  • Competitive salary.
  • Annual discretionary bonus.
  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Private healthcare and pension.
  • Enhanced family leave.
  • Paid volunteering days.
  • Wellbeing initiatives and regular team socials.
  • Cycle-to-work scheme and travel loan.
  • We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, supported and able to thrive. We believe diverse teams bring fresh perspectives, creativity and progress.
