Maintenance Technician
at CNC Speedwell Disability Confident CommittedCNC Speedwell Ltd is a busy machine shop located in Brownhills in the West Midlands. We are looking for an apprentice trained, experienced electrically biased maintenance technician to join our team. You will have a broad electrical and mechanical knowledge. You will be happy working in both a proactive and reactive role managing your time to achieve best results for the company. Essential experience:
- Experienced with low voltage control and feedback systems.
- Understanding of Fanuc, Siemens CNC control systems.
- Working with DC drives.
- Competent at reading and understanding electrical, hydraulic and other technical documents to research machine issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electronic, software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems:
- Experience with replacing machine linear guides and ball screws.
- Perform machine levelling and alignment.
- Work well under pressure. Desirable experience
- Apprentice trained and qualified with at least three years' experience in performing maintenance on CNC machine tools.
- Experience of horizontal twin spindle, twin pallet milling machines
- Working with Siemens Simatic HMI.
- Forklift truck licence Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year Benefits:
