Job Role: Senior Safety Engineer - Maritime Systems Location: Hybird - Bristol Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to support the safety assurance of in-service maritime and underwater systems. Key experience required:
- Safety Cases & Safety Arguments
- Hazard Analysis, HAZID & Hazard Logs
- ALARP assessments
- Maritime, naval, sonar or underwater systems
- Legacy/in-service equipment safety assurance
- Verification & compliance evidence review
- Stakeholder engagement within defence environments Desirable:
- Functional Safety
- EMC / Low Voltage compliance
- Defence communications or electronic systems Experience with submarine, sonar, mission systems or wider maritime defence programmes is highly desirable.
