IT Apprentice

Interested in technology? Ready to build your career in IT? We're looking for an IT Apprentice to join the team at Lords Group Trading, combining hands-on experience with a Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship provided by Baltic. We're a leading distributor of building materials, supplying the products our customers need to build, repair and improve homes and properties across the UK. Behind our branches and businesses is the technology that keeps everything connected - and that's where you come in. You don't need lots of IT experience - that's what the apprenticeship is for. We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, a willingness to learn and a helpful, problem-solving approach. What You'll Be Doing With support from the team, you'll learn how to:

• Help colleagues with everyday IT issues
• Set up laptops, equipment, software and user accounts
• Log, investigate and resolve support requests
• Support new starters and leavers with their IT needs
• Help maintain IT equipment and asset records
• Assist with networks, connectivity and cloud services
• Learn about cybersecurity and keeping our systems and information safe
• Get involved in IT projects and improvements As your skills and confidence grow, you'll gradually take on more responsibility. You'll Need We're looking for potential, not years of experience:
• A genuine interest in IT and technology
• A willingness to learn, ask questions and take feedback on board
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A patient, helpful approach and good communication skills
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• A full UK driving licence and your own reliable transport - this is essential as the role will involve travel between our sites Your experience could come from school, college, work, personal projects or simply your own interest in technology. Your apprenticeship Alongside your role, you'll complete a Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, combining structured learning with real workplace experience. You'll be supported by both Baltic and our IT team as you develop the skills and knowledge to build your career in IT.
