Mobile Plant Engineer

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Mobile Plant Engineer to join an established plant machinery business based in Auchtermuchty. Our client provides plant machinery maintenance, repair and hire services across Scotland, offering a brand new fully kitted service van and a varied field-based role for a fully qualified plant engineer. What's on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Overtime and weekend work available
• 17 to 19 per hour - dependent on experience
• Brand new fully fitted service van provided As a Mobile Plant Engineer, Your Duties Will Include
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, ATVs and small plant
• Diagnosing faults using Jaltest and Texa diagnostic equipment
• Working across 12v and 24v electrical systems
• Delivering a high standard of customer service at client sites across Scotland
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation To be considered as a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will need:
• Time-served plant or agricultural engineering background with an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential
• A minimum of 5 years' experience working on plant and equipment
• Experience with Jaltest or Texa diagnostic equipment
• A full UK driving licence and your own tools is essential
