Chef Lecturer - Catering & Hospitality

Temporary Opportunity with Potential to Become Permanent

£25-30 per hour

(£33,787- £42,766 per annum)

Reed Further Education are currently recruiting for a Chef Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education provider on a temporary basis while a permanent recruitment process is underway.

The Role

As a Chef Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and practical Catering & Hospitality lessons, supporting learners to achieve vocational qualifications and develop the skills required for employment within the hospitality industry.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Catering & Hospitality.
• Supporting students to achieve their qualifications and progression goals.
• Planning, preparing and assessing lessons and practical activities.
• Monitoring learner attendance, progress and achievement.
• Providing pastoral support and acting as a Programme Tutor where required.

Essential Requirements;

• A Level/Level 3 qualification in Catering, Hospitality, Professional Cookery or a related discipline.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Level 2.
• At least 3 years' experience working in a catering or hospitality environment.

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years' referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
