Lead Software Engineer

Lead Engineer | North West | Hybrid We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join an established, growing UK business. You will take ownership of technical delivery on the core platform, set standards for the team, and act as the go-to person for design and problem-solving. This is a hands-on role with leadership of day-to-day delivery. You will work closely with product, operations and the wider technology team. What you will do:

• Lead technical delivery on a Microsoft stack (C# / .NET, Azure, SQL)
• Design and implement features while unblocking other engineers
• Set and uphold engineering standards, code quality and ways of working
• Partner with product and operational stakeholders to turn priorities into shipped work
• Mentor engineers and improve delivery reliability without a large team What you will bring:
• Proven experience as a senior or lead engineer on Microsoft / Azure technologies
• Strong technical depth to review design, write production code and resolve complex issues
• A track record of shipping reliable systems and raising the standard of the team around you
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues Hybrid, North West.
