Wavee Ai

About the role Wavee is a London startup connecting residents in our buildings with the local businesses on their doorstep. You'll win local businesses for Wavee, finding the right businesses around our buildings, get in front of them, explain why Wavee matters, close them and get them live on the platform. This is a hands-on sales role. You'll prospect every day by phone, email, LinkedIn and in person, building your own pipeline and taking businesses from first conversation all the way to signed and live. What you'll do

  • Build the pipeline: prospect daily by phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals and in person, targeting restaurants, cafés, gyms, salons, retail and other local businesses around Wavee buildings. Keep the CRM accurate.
  • Sell Wavee: run demos, position the right offering for each business, handle objections and close against an individual monthly target.
  • Get businesses live: gather what's needed to launch, work with the wider team to get them on the platform quickly, and stay close afterwards to drive value, renewals and upsells.
  • Improve how we sell: use the playbook, track what converts, and share market feedback with the Commercial and Product teams. Who you are You're an ambitious, early-career salesperson who wants to learn how to sell properly in a fast-moving startup. You're commercial, confident and comfortable talking to people. Given the choice, you'd rather pick up the phone or walk into a business than spend an hour perfecting an email. What you'll need
  • Confidence speaking to businesses by phone and face to face.
  • Comfort prospecting and generating your own opportunities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The organisation to manage a pipeline and follow up relentlessly.
  • A drive to hit targets, and comfort being measured on results.
  • Willingness to be hands-on and in person, across London. Bonus points for
  • Previous B2B sales, business development or account management experience.
  • Experience selling to local businesses in hospitality, leisure, retail or wellness.
  • Startup or early-stage company experience.
  • Experience using a CRM and running a structured sales pipeline.
  • Knowledge of London and its local business landscape.
