HPC Network Engineer | £550/day | Outside IR35 | 6 Months | Hybrid (UK) A tech-led business running its own multi-tenant GPU cluster wants one engineer to own the network end to end, from design to day-2 operations, with no handoffs. What you'll do ▪️Build and tune lossless RDMA fabrics (RoCEv2 / InfiniBand) for GPU and storage traffic ▪️Run leaf-spine with BGP and EVPN/VXLAN ▪️Keep tenants isolated across compute, storage and management ▪️Treat network as code: Python, Ansible, NetBox, CI ▪️Build telemetry that spots congestion before users notice it ▪️Act as the in-house network expert, office network included What you'll bring ▪️5+ years on production data centre networks ▪️Strong BGP, EVPN/VXLAN and Clos fabric experience ▪️Hands-on RoCEv2 (PFC/ECN/DCQCN) or InfiniBand ▪️Enough Linux depth to debug from the host side, not just the switch Bonus: Spectrum-X or Quantum IB, ConnectX/BlueField, 400/800G optics, NVMe-oF, MAAS/PXE Experience in GPU/HPC environment is a must If you are interested in hearing more about the role, please hit apply!
