Accountant

Accountant Leicester Based Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE Permanent, Full-Time Are you a fully qualified Accountant with at least 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice? Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
• Complete year-end accounts and financial statements
• Prepare and review VAT returns and other statutory submissions
• Provide clients with accounting advice and support
• Liaise directly with clients to understand their requirements and resolve queries
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and within required deadlines
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and legislation
• Support the wider practice team with a range of accounting and client-related duties Qualifications
• Fully qualified Accountant, CIMA/ACCA is preferred but can also consider AAT with strong practice experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practice-based accounting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines Required Skills
