AI Product Developer
at CompetitionAIAbout the Role We're looking for an AI Product Developer to help us build AI-powered products for complex, document-heavy workflows in regulated industries. You'll build and ship production AI features across our product stack, from polished user experiences through to LLM-powered backend workflows. This is a hands-on role combining full-stack engineering, applied AI and product development, with a lot of ownership in a small team. Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack product features using TypeScript, React/Next.js and Node.js.
- Design reliable LLM workflows using model APIs, agents, tool calling and prompt management.
- Build asynchronous processing pipelines using queues and workers.
- Develop document ingestion, extraction, search, PDF processing and source-linked citation features.
- Work directly with legal and domain experts to turn complex professional workflows into intuitive, explainable products. What we're looking for You've shipped generative-AI features into production and understand how they fail in real use. You're comfortable owning features end-to-end, including when the brief is vague or still changing. You can ship quickly without making the product harder to maintain, and you already use coding agents as part of how you build. Stack: TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL. Experience with LLM APIs and background jobs matters more than familiarity with any particular model, framework or queue. Salary Competitive, based on experience. Additional details
- Location: King's Cross, London — 2 days/week in the office, 3 days remote.
- Application process: CV review, short screening call, then in-person interviews with the founders.
- Apply: Send your CV to careers@competitionlaw.ai
