Take a next-gen product programme from first kickoff through to the tooling release milestone, and own every cross-functional call in between. It's a fast, lean build at a long-established global consumer appliance brand, with monthly prototype rounds and visibility right up to weekly CEO reviews. The business is a global consumer products company with household brands sold in millions of homes, now pushing hard into its next generation of home environment products. The London team runs lean and fast, building and iterating prototypes every month, and works hand in hand with engineering and manufacturing partners in China and across Asia. Progress on the programme is reviewed at the top every week. The role You'll take the programme end to end, from the kickoff materials and the first prototype build through to the tooling release milestone, and quite possibly beyond it. You'll run the schedule across Asia, UK and US time zones, with daily contact with the China team and global technical reviews each afternoon. You'll keep ID, marketing, sales, supply chain and engineering aligned, own the status reports, risk registers and executive decks, and build the trackers and tools the programme needs where none exist yet. It suits a project manager who wants a whole programme to call their own, not a slice of one, and who moves fast when the full picture isn't in yet. If you build order out of ambiguity, this is the seat for it. What you'll need

  • Proven experience running physical product development programmes end to end, preferably as a contractor, within consumer electronics, appliances or automotive.
  • A track record of managing several concurrent workstreams at once across global supply and manufacturing teams, including partners in China and the wider Asia region.
  • You can work in a fast, lean environment inside a larger organisation, building your own trackers, processes and tools where none exist.
  • You're available to start almost immediately and to be on site in London three days a week The details
  • Reporting to the Existing TPM leadership, alongside the engineering teams
  • Initial three-month contract, expected to run to six
  • Daily contact with teams in China and Asia
  • Immediate start
  • Start: ASAP
  • End-to-end ownership of a live programme
  • Executive visibility up to weekly CEO reviews
  • Strong likelihood of extension to six months What it isn't This isn't a polished, process-heavy programme office. It's lean and moves fast, so there's minimal structure and you'll build the trackers and tools as you go. It's office-based three fixed days a week in London, not remote, and the initial term is three months, so it suits someone who can commit now. The global schedule means early starts and afternoon reviews to catch China and the US. If you want a whole programme to run your way, and tangible outcomes fast, that's the point. If this sounds like your next move, click Apply and we'll be in touch.
