Sales Team Manager Remote (Anywhere in the UK) | Full-time Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus performance-based commission. OTE £65,000-£75,000. Who We Are Salesblox helps people sell better, managers lead with confidence, and businesses build sales processes that deliver consistent results. Built on over 15 years of sales and people leadership experience, we provide sales coaching, fractional sales leadership, bespoke playbooks, workshops and speaking engagements. Our offering is human-centred. We take time to understand each client's people, goals and challenges, then provide practical coaching and support that builds skills, confidence and lasting improvements. We also use AI to support research, preparation and productivity. Technology helps us work effectively, while human relationships, experience and judgement guide our coaching and decisions. We're building a business where people feel supported, expectations are clear, and good ideas turn into meaningful action. How We Work We are human first: We build relationships, listen carefully and adapt our approach to the person in front of us. We work remotely, with clear ownership: We value trust, autonomy and communication that keeps everyone connected and moving forward. We make coaching count: Feedback should give someone a clear action they can put into practice. We take responsibility for results: We understand our numbers, raise risks early and follow through on commitments. We keep improving: We learn from customers, share what works and use evidence to refine our approach. This Role We're looking for a hands-on Sales Team Manager to lead and develop a small, growing remote team and help shape how Salesblox wins new business. You'll own the team's day-to-day sales performance, including coaching, pipeline management, forecasting and deal support. You'll set clear expectations, help people improve and keep the team focused on the activities that lead to revenue. You'll also stay actively involved in selling: speaking with prospects, supporting important opportunities and helping businesses understand how Salesblox can address their sales and leadership challenges. Working closely with the founder, you'll influence our messaging, sales processes and team development. This role suits someone who enjoys building structure, developing people and taking responsibility as a business grows. Your Key Focus Areas

  • Own team performance: Translate revenue targets into clear priorities and individual objectives, then act on progress and gaps.
  • Build a healthy pipeline: Help the team identify suitable prospects, create opportunities and maintain consistent follow-up.
  • Coach the individual: Run useful 1:1s, review calls and meetings, practise difficult conversations and agree development actions tailored to each person.
  • Keep the remote team connected: Establish clear communication, regular check-ins and opportunities to learn from one another.
  • Keep opportunities moving: Understand where deals stand, what buyers need and what must happen next.
  • Maintain reliable forecasts: Assess opportunities honestly, flag risks early and keep leadership informed.
  • Support important deals: Join discovery calls, proposals and negotiations when your involvement can help.
  • Develop practical playbooks: Turn successful approaches into guidance the team can apply in everyday conversations.
  • Recruit and develop talent: Support hiring and onboarding as the team grows, helping new starters build confidence and capability.
  • Use CRM and AI tools effectively: Keep opportunity records accurate and use technology to support research, preparation, follow-up and administration.
  • Build a supportive team culture: Set high standards while giving people the feedback, tools and encouragement to meet them. Who You Are Essential
  • Experience leading a B2B sales team, with clear examples of the results you helped deliver.
  • Evidence that your coaching has improved someone's confidence, skills or sales performance.
  • Strong new business sales experience, including prospecting, discovery, proposals and closing.
  • Confidence managing pipelines, forecasting revenue and using sales data to guide decisions.
  • The ability to give direct, constructive feedback and hold people accountable fairly.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with colleagues, prospects and customers.
  • Experience using a CRM to manage opportunities and team performance.
  • The ability to organise your work independently and maintain clear communication in a remote environment.
  • An interest in using AI responsibly to improve how you and your team work. Nice to Have
  • Experience selling consultancy, training, coaching or other business services.
  • Experience leading a remote sales team.
  • Experience helping build a sales function in an early-stage business.
  • Experience creating sales playbooks or delivering practical training.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn prospecting and AI tools for sales research and productivity. What Good Looks Like Your team knows what is expected, how it is performing and where it needs to improve. People feel comfortable asking for support and confident taking ownership of their work. Coaching leads to better conversations and stronger execution. Opportunities have clear next steps, forecasts reflect reality, and risks are raised while there is still time to act. Customers feel understood. Team members feel supported and challenged. Leadership can rely on you for a clear view of performance and a considered plan for what comes next. What We Offer
  • Remote working, with trust and autonomy to organise your work and deliver meaningful results.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including generous parental leave and a home office allowance.
  • Outstanding learning and development opportunities, with coaching, practical training and support for your professional growth.
  • Meaningful ownership, with a direct influence on our sales approach, processes and team culture.
  • The opportunity to help build Salesblox, with scope to take on greater responsibility as performance and business needs develop. Before You Apply We'd like to hear about the teams you've led, the results you've delivered and an example of how your coaching helped someone improve. Follow @salesblox | www.salesblox.co.uk
