Business Development Manager

Role: Business Development Manager - [Airports Sector & Airspace Strategy] Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 + Bonus & Benefits Location: London / Hybrid A specialist, environmental consultancy is looking to strengthen its position within the UK aviation sector. With established expertise across acoustics, environmental impact and infrastructure, the business is investing in the growth of its airports offering and is seeking an experienced leader to help shape its next phase of development. This is a senior opportunity to take ownership of rebuilding and growing the airports sector, combining strategic direction, commercial responsibility and technical leadership. You will develop the sector proposition, strengthen existing airport relationships, generate new business and position the business as a trusted adviser across airport noise, airspace change, environmental governance and community impact. Key Skills & Experience Required

• Airport & Aviation Experience: Proven experience working with major airports, ideally within aviation noise or airport environmental consultancy.
• Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and implement a sector growth strategy, establish priorities and build a sustainable service offering.
• Commercial & P&L Management: Experience managing sector budgets, income targets, profitability and overall commercial performance.
• Business Development: Track record of winning new business, expanding existing accounts and developing long-term client relationships.
• Aviation Noise & Environmental Expertise: Strong understanding of airport noise, environmental impact, mitigation and community engagement.
• Airspace Change Knowledge: Understanding of airspace modernisation and the environmental implications of changes to airport operations.
• Senior Stakeholder Management: Confidence advising senior clients, leading proposals, building strategic partnerships and representing the business externally.
