As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Data Solutions Architect who can help shape customer solutions today and develop into a future Principal / Lead Architect. The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Solutions Architect with a strong data engineering/ data platform/ data architecture background who enjoys working directly with clients to solve complex business challenges. You'll be responsible for designing and leading the delivery of modern data solutions across a variety of customer environments, acting as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists, you'll play a key role in defining architecture, ensuring delivery quality, and driving successful outcomes. Beyond project delivery, this role offers a genuine pathway into a Principal / Lead Architect position, where you'll take greater ownership of architectural frameworks, best practices, consultancy propositions, and executive-level customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Solution Architecture

• Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions aligned to client objectives.
• Lead discovery workshops and architecture sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable and pragmatic data architectures.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce high-quality architecture artefacts, solution designs, and technical roadmaps. Data Platform & Delivery Leadership
• Provide architectural guidance across data engineering and analytics projects.
• Support the successful delivery of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Ensure solutions align with best practice, security, governance, and operational requirements.
• Work alongside Data Engineers, Consultants, and Project Leads to drive successful outcomes. Consultancy & Practice Development
• Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and client presentations.
• Support pre-sales activities and help identify new opportunities within existing customers.
• Share knowledge, mentor consultants, and contribute to the growth of architectural capability.
• Help develop reusable assets, standards, accelerators, and delivery frameworks. Future Leadership Development
• Develop the skills and experience required to progress into a Principal / Lead Architect role.
• Gain exposure to C-suite stakeholders and strategic transformation programmes.
• Contribute to the evolution of the consultancy's architecture practice and service offerings.
• Help define methodologies, governance standards, and architectural best practices. What We're Looking For Essential
• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, Principal Data Consultant, or similar architecture-focused role.
• Strong consultancy experience, either within a specialist consultancy or client-facing professional services environment.
• Excellent understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and data architecture principles.
• Strong background in data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience designing and delivering solutions using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Genuine ambition to progress into a senior architecture leadership role. Desirable
• Experience across Data Governance, Data Management, MDM, Analytics, or AI initiatives.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks and governance practices.
• Experience supporting sales opportunities, bids, and pre-sales engagements.
• Experience building reusable patterns, frameworks, and delivery accelerators.
