IT AV Technician

RECRUITMENTiQ is working alongside a university in Cumbria to assist in their search for a full-time IT / AV Technician to join their Learning and Information Services team in Moor Row, Cumbriaon a fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be required to install and maintain a diverse range of IT, audio-visual and specialist resources and facilities across the estate and support other technical teams in the delivery of core teaching activities. The role holder will be required to support staff and students in the implementation and use of a range of learning technologies, including web conferencing activities and event support. Travel will be required on occasion. About you: The successful candidate will be naturally inquisitive and will possess a range of relevant skills and experience. They will have experience of IT and AV technical support in a customer facing role and of instruction and demonstration of IT and AV equipment, along with good customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and colleagues. A Level 3 qualification, such as A Levels or BTEC, or equivalent experiential learning is required for this role.
