AI Delivery Lead | Remote UK | £550–£600 per day | Inside IR35 Location: Fully remote, with occasional travel to Cardiff Contract: 6 months Rate: £550–£600 per day, Inside IR35 The Opportunity I'm currently looking for an experienced AI Delivery Lead to drive the delivery, adoption and operational success of strategic AI and technology initiatives within a Financial Crime Compliance portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior delivery professional who can combine strategic programme leadership with hands-on operational support, working across Product, Engineering, Support and Business teams to deliver measurable outcomes. Alongside leading AI and technology initiatives, approximately 35% of the role will focus on Customer Crisis Management (CCM), incident management, operational governance and continuous service improvement. Key Responsibilities AI Delivery & Value Realisation

• Lead AI and technology initiatives from initial concept through to delivery, adoption and value realisation.
• Translate business objectives and investment cases into delivery plans, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Track KPIs, benefits and delivery performance to support investment and prioritisation decisions. Delivery Leadership
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Engineering and Business teams.
• Manage delivery plans, risks, issues, dependencies and critical milestones.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, accountability and effective decision-making. Incident & Customer Crisis Management
• Support Customer Crisis Management and Major Incident Management processes.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Support and Delivery teams during significant customer-impacting incidents.
• Facilitate clear communication, root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Track corrective actions and drive improvements to product quality, operational processes and customer outcomes. Agile Delivery & Governance
• Enable effective Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.
• Support SAFe delivery, PI Planning and coordination across multiple teams.
• Maintain governance, executive reporting, financial oversight and risk management.
• Support operational readiness and ensure alignment with security, compliance and Responsible AI requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness through AI, automation and emerging technologies. Essential Experience
• 10+ years' experience in Programme Management, Delivery Management or Technology Delivery Leadership.
• Proven experience delivering complex technology initiatives within enterprise environments.
• Experience developing business cases, delivery plans and benefits realisation approaches.
• Strong stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, Support and Business functions.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of delivery governance, reporting, financial management, risks and dependencies.
• Exposure to Incident Management, Major Incident Management or Customer Crisis Management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and drive outcomes under pressure. Desirable Experience
• Delivery experience across AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning or automation initiatives.
• SAFe experience, including PI Planning and Agile Release Train (ART) coordination.
• Scrum Master or Agile Delivery leadership experience.
• Financial services, risk, compliance or other regulated industry experience.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI, security and governance frameworks.
• Experience with root cause analysis, post-incident reviews and service improvement.
• Experience supporting customer-facing incidents within enterprise software environments.
