Pioneering UK aerospace business developing and operating large autonomous fixed‑wing UAVs (logistics / humanitarian / defence) is hiring an Electronics CAD Technician / Harness Documentation Draughtperson. Documentation-led role creating controlled electrical + cable/harness drawing packs to enable repeatable manufacture across an expanding fleet and next‑gen programmes. Key work
- SolidWorks Electrical: schematics, wiring/single-line/interconnection drawings
- Harness/cable assembly drawings: wire IDs/lengths, routing, shielding, breakouts, connector/termination detail
- Pinouts, cable schedules, from-to/wire lists, BOMs
- Revision/config control (PDM/document management) + build support (ECR/ECN) Must have
- Electrical CAD + wiring/harness documentation experience
- SolidWorks Electrical (or similar) + strong Excel
- Practical harness build knowledge (crimps/contacts, connectors, shielding, strain relief, labelling) No visa sponsorship available.
